Our Offer
The Mitigation Action Facility is a go-to platform for providing technical support and climate finance for ambitious mitigation projects with the aim of decarbonising key sectors of the economy and society. The multi-donor programme receives guidance and funding from the German and UK governments, Denmark, the European Union, and the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). The Mitigation Action Facility catalyses investments, strengthens capacities and triggers behaviour change towards sectorial decarbonisation. GIZ implements the Mitigation Action Facility including the operation of the Technical Support Unit (TSU) as a secretariat. The TSU implements Calls for projects, coordinates and monitors the overall implementation of the programme and is responsible for monitoring, evaluation, reporting, knowledge management and communication of the Mitigation Action Facility. It is in close contact with the Donors of the Mitigation Action Facility, with implementers of projects and potential applicants. More information on www.mitigation-action.org
